Like many artists, I fell in love with                                                                my craft young. Some of my favorite memories are piling into the car                                                                        with my best friend, headed to a shoot. We’d take turns directing                                                                               and photographing each other, rush home to edit, and share the                                                                                  results with the world. Then we’d do it all over.  Rinse                                                                                                    & Repeat. ​After college, I was given the oppor-                                                                                                              tunity to shadow a wedding photograp-                                                                                                                her who helped me hone my passion. (Tae — if                                                                                                        you're reading this, I owe you my life.) What just                                                                                                      started as shadowing turned into being a second                                                                                      photographer,  which turned into booking my own wedding clients                                                                      and by the Grace of God, the creation of Where the Heart Grows                                                                          Green.

​Greens have always inspired                                                                                    me — the way light filters through leaves, how nature holds                                                                              space for both softness and wildness. There’s a Latin word,                                                                                   verdant, that means green, growing, and lush — exactly what                                                                              I want my work to feel like. Green, as in your natural self and                                                                           the natural rhythm of a moment. Growing, as in growing your                                                                  love, your family, or a dream you’re chasing. Lush, like something                                                                   full of life, full of color, full of you.
